Exploding Kittens: A Card Game About Kittens and Explosions and Sometimes Goats was the most backed game in Kickstarter history.
The rules are simple. Players draw cards until someone pulls out an Exploding Kitten, at which point KABLAMMO! They explode. Well, they lose… unless they have a Defuse card which can defuse the kitten using an array of tools such as laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. The rest of the cards are used to move, mitigate, or avoid Exploding Kittens. Oh, and some can activate special powers.
Great fun for all the family, but if you’re after something a bit more explicit, go ahead and check out Exploding Kittens: NSFW Edition.
Swiss made, tough aluminium casing, fluorescent orange. Caran d’Ache make some of the best pens going and their 849 range is no exception, with their show stopping colours and meticulously engineered cartridges. There’s good, and then there’s “can-we-put-their-awesome-cartridge-in-our-£20k-pen” good.

Remembering what you’ve been working on and for how long is always a gruelling task, which is why there’s a ton of apps that help track your time. Few do it well, others only exist in pixels. That’s where ZEI comes in, making it easy to instantly switch between your time-tracked tasks with a physical 8-sided device that sits unobtrusively on your desk. Using the polygon shaped device is simple. Mark each side with your tasks using pen or stickers and whatever task is on top will be the task that it’s currently tracking. Connect it all up to their app (which works on macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android), flip it, sit back do work, and watch your time track itself.
